Our Guarantee and Promise To You     

American Turf Pro guarantees a solid stand of grass on acceptable soil, providing lawn care is in compliance with our instructions. Round-Up brand herbicide is the only approved pre-hydroseeding grass/weed killer. Other herbicides may remain in the soil for weeks or months after application and kill seedlings shortly after germination. We can not be responsible for pre-existing factors beyond our control such as neglect, disease, weeds, annuals, crabgrass, toxins in the soil, insects, fungus, abuse or Acts of God (hurricanes).   We will not be responsible if you over water or over fertilize your lawn. To stay in compliance with warrantee you must fertilize by the seventh week.  We do not guarantee properties that do not incorporate an automatic watering system, either in or above ground.  We feel that there are just too many variables in our daily lives that watering the lawn can be easily forgotten.  We provide an electronic automatic sprinkler timer free of charge.  We will pre-program the timer for the first four weeks of your new lawns life.  We strongly suggest that you continue use this method of watering your lawn to ensure a full healthy and long lasting stand of grass. 

IMPORTANT SUGGESTIONS:

1). Sharpen Lawn Mower Blades (dull blades can severely damage new sprouts)

2). Thoroughly wash mower prior to mowing new lawn. This will help eliminate any possibility of spreading weed seeds, fungal spores and other potential diseases.

 

You can expect your lawn to look like established turf in approx. 30-60 days (weather permitting), with minor exceptions of small sparse areas that will continue to fill in.  The mature seedlings will knit together and thicken up each time you mow. You will need to mow 3 - 5 times before the lawn will look lush and thick. We recommend that you use a grass catcher when you mow for the first 2 months, after this you may use a good mulching mower if desired. Small bare areas are usually caused from the seed drying out too much or being flooded and washed away. These areas will have to be re-seeded to introduce new seedlings for growth.  We will provide you with enough extra seed to fill in these bare spots.  If you have more than a few spots, call us and we’ll provide additional seed to fill in these spaces as well.  This will not normally be necessary, but vastly varying soil conditions may cause this problem.  This may also be a sign of a bigger problem with your lawn that must be addressed before additional seed is planted.

 

Diseases

American Turf Pro is not responsible for any diseases in your new lawn. It is best to call a Professional Pest Control Company to get advice. We can recommend some.  All reseeding will be charged at a maximum of 75% of the original square footage price with a minimum of $300.00. This will include re-seeding due to fungus, disease, slime mold, inadequate watering, flooding areas which washes away the seed, channeling of water down a slope because of too much moisture, sprinkler problems associated with the Homeowner or Contractor, weed takeover caused by seeds drying out, animals or activity that disturbs the seed bed, etc…

 

If the watering technique is followed routinely to allow as much germination as possible and with proper maintenance - you're on your way to establishing a happy, healthy lawn.

 

HYDROSEEDING WARRANTY:

American Turf Pro warranties that hydroseed was applied at specified rates by a Qualified Professional Hydroseed Applicator. Implied in American Turf Pro Warranty is Manufacturer [seed, fertilizer, etc…] product warranties. American Turf Pro does warranty to customer a healthy uniform stand of Turf Grass under the following conditions/exceptions:

 

¨ All problems must be brought to our attention during the first 21 days following application.

¨ Irrigation system must be able to properly water all seeded areas evenly and adequately.

¨ American Turf Pro is not responsible for weed competition or their eradication.

¨ Not responsible for Acts of God, theft, , owners use of herbicide in the first year, improper/incorrect use of herbicide, owner over fertilizing, vandalism or anything else beyond American Turf Pro’s control. Including drought, torrential rains and other weather related conditions.

¨ Hydroseed is a live product! It must be watered within 24 hours of application. Hydroseed is perishable and will die if it is not watered properly.
